Dr. Penticoff is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in individual, adolescent and family therapy, and has maintained a private practice in Woodbury MN since 2001.

With over 25 years of experience providing therapy and community based services, Dr. Penticoff serves as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are adolescent struggles, depression, anxiety disorders in children, and family therapy.

Dr. Penticoff is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and insight oriented feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Dr. Penticoff integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion, understanding and hope, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Multisystemic Therapy (MST) Practitioner and Supervisor - 1998 - present.

In 1998, Dr. Penticoff began her MST journey as an intensive, in-home family therapist in Dakota County MN in collaboration with Dakota County Juvenile Services and Dakota County Community Servies. Her passion for helping youth and families utilizing the MST model led her to a supervisory position in Washington County MN in 2002. Since 2002, Dr. Penticoff has collaborated with Washington County's Juvenile and Community Services and supervised a team of MST therapists, diverting youth from placement and re-offending in the community. Overarching goals of the MST program in WACO is to empower family systems to keep their children in school, enhance family relationships, decrease mental illness and more. Co-founder and President of the Suicide Prevention Collaborative (SPC) 2010 - present.

In the spring of 2010, Dr. Penticoff reached out to her friend and colleague, Dr. Shelly Strong of Central Pediatrics and they joined with other caring community members to launch the Suicide Prevention Collaborative. Since 2010, Dr. Penticoff has led the SPC team in providing numerous community education events and 10 " Together it Gets Better" 5k races to support suicide prevention efforts in the east metro community of Minneapolis and St Paul MN.

QPR Certified Instructor 2013 - present. Question, Persuade and Refer is a suicide prevention gate-keeper training.
